Between 2020 and 2022, I created a series of drawings on square papers, each piece offering my personal interpretation of objects, space, and memories. Through these works, I explored the connections between object and the emotional landscapes they evoke. The square format provided a structured space in which I create visual narrative through composition, form, and subtle details to reflect the way memories and objects shape our perceptions of the world around us.
Each item within the composition is more than just a physical thing; it represents a piece of personal memories, a fragment of colours. The room, brimming with these collected objects, becomes a metaphor for memory itself. In this detailed and vibrant illustration, the objects serve as symbols of identity, each one carefully chosen to reflect moments of the past, and evolving self-awareness. I highlights the complex relationship between material and colours using colored pencils. This room, explores how the things we keep can shape our sense of belonging, self-understanding, and connection to the world around us. "Party Alone" celebrates the quiet festivities of self-reflection, where the joy of the occasion is found within, not in the presence of others. Encouraging us to reflect on the objects that define our own lives, and the ways in which they become extensions of our identity.
