Exploring the relationship between color, form, and shape within the concept of dining. What we eat, how we eat, where we eat, and with whom we eat are all embedded in the scenes of everyday life. When we examine the act of eating as a subject, it includes space, behavior, memory, and even the preparation process. It can also relate to health, environment, and society. I wanted to explore the connection between humans and eating, and how social conventions can be translated into art.

This Giant Sundae Soft Sculpture is larger-than-life interpretation of a classic Japanese dessert, created over the two months. The project features an oversized sundae, complete with meticulously sewn fabric elements and vibrant, handmade fruits. Each component is carefully crafted using fabric and soft materials, while the structure itself is supported by a sturdy wire frame.
