Magic creatures
2023
oil pastel, coloured pencil, watercolour 
on paper I used color scraps to create 24 different figures, counting down from December 1 to December 24. This was inspired by the magical creatures found in Christmas ornaments.

I merges paper collage, colored pencil, soft pastel and watercolor to create a colorful and surreal narrative inspired by the ritual of decorating a Christmas tree with ornaments. The illustration features intricate paper scraps meticulously arranged to form figures, Expore the  vibrant hues of colored pencil, watercolor in layered textures and playful form. It invites viewers to take a closer look at the unique personalities of the ornaments, each one representing a moment in the countdown to Christmas.
