A concept I really appreciate in the Japanese tea ceremony is "One Encounter, One Chance." This term has been translated as "for this time only" or "once in a lifetime." It can be traced back to the 16th century, originating from a saying by tea master Sen no Rikyū: "one chance in a lifetime."

The phrase serves as a reminder to cherish every gathering we participate in, emphasizing that each moment in life is unique and cannot be repeated.
